Successful Delivery of A-Type Layer Chicken Cages in Indonesia
In 2025, our company successfully completed a landmark poultry infrastructure project in Indonesia—the design, manufacturing, and on-site delivery of 12,000 units of A-Type Layer Chicken Cages for a large-scale commercial egg farm located in East Java. This initiative not only reinforced our commitment to sustainable and efficient poultry farming solutions but also marked a significant milestone in our international expansion strategy within Southeast Asia.
The client, a leading Indonesian agribusiness group, sought to modernize its egg production facilities to meet rising domestic demand and comply with evolving animal welfare standards. After an extensive evaluation of global suppliers, they selected our company based on our reputation for high-quality galvanized steel construction, automated feeding systems, and proven track record in tropical climate adaptation.
The A-Type Layer Chicken Cage system we provided features a three-tier vertical design, optimized for space efficiency and ease of maintenance. Each cage unit accommodates up to 96 birds, with integrated feed troughs, automatic water lines, and sloped floors that facilitate egg collection while minimizing breakage. The entire structure is made from hot-dip galvanized steel, ensuring corrosion resistance in Indonesia’s humid and rainy environment—a critical factor for long-term durability.
Our project timeline spanned six months, from initial consultation to final commissioning. The first phase involved detailed site assessment and customization of the cage layout to fit the client’s existing barn dimensions and ventilation systems. Our engineering team collaborated closely with local contractors to ensure seamless integration with on-farm automation, including manure removal conveyors and climate control units.
Manufacturing took place at our ISO-certified facility in China, where rigorous quality checks were performed at every stage—from raw material selection to final assembly. All components were pre-assembled in modular sections to simplify overseas shipping and on-site installation. In total, over 40 shipping containers were dispatched to Surabaya Port, followed by coordinated inland logistics to the farm site.
On-site installation was completed in just eight weeks by a joint team of our technicians and trained local workers. We provided comprehensive training sessions for farm staff on daily operation, hygiene protocols, and troubleshooting—ensuring the system’s optimal performance from day one. Post-installation support included remote monitoring and a 24-month warranty on structural integrity.

The results have been impressive. Within three months of operation, the client reported a 15% increase in egg production efficiency and a 20% reduction in labor costs. Mortality rates dropped significantly due to improved air circulation and reduced stress among hens. Moreover, the modular design allows for future scalability—should the farm decide to expand capacity, additional cage rows can be seamlessly added.
This project exemplifies our “farm-to-future” philosophy: delivering not just equipment, but holistic, future-ready solutions tailored to regional needs. By combining advanced engineering with deep understanding of local agricultural practices, we empower farmers to achieve higher productivity, better animal welfare, and greater economic resilience.
We are in active discussions with several other Indonesian poultry producers interested in adopting similar systems. Our success in East Java has opened doors across the archipelago, reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in sustainable livestock infrastructure development throughout Southeast Asia.
